Description

International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC)

  • The practical competition will be shot under IPSC rules.

  • This event will be held in the following classes, however competitors may enter ONE class only-

o    Law Enforcement

o    Semi-Auto Open

o    Semi-Auto Standard / Production

  • Any Semi-Auto pistol, having optical sights or a compensator, or both, will compete in Open division.

  • Teams of 4 can nominate, with the scores from each of the individual shoots being tallied to obtain the team score. At least 3 teams need to be nominated in a category, before medals will be offered. If less than 3 teams are nominated in any category, the team event will be withdrawn, from that category.

  • Practice days will be announced in due course.

 

Other Information

  • All competitors will be required to produce a current Firearms Licence and Endorsement to be able to shoot this match.

  • All competitors must use their own Pistol or if borrowing a Pistol from a NZ based shooter have completed all the necessary Police documentation.

  • Anybody travelling to NZ with firearms will require a Visitors Firearm Licence and Import Permits - for more information go to the following NZ Police Webpage or Pistol NZ Webpage

Firearms Storage
Firearms Storage will be available at the local “Gun Supplies” Shop. We are still working on the procedures for this and will update in due course.
