Grading
This is an open competition, run under training conditions, so NZ competitors will not gain ESNZ points for any placings in Dressage and Show Jumping.  This is not a HOYQ competition.

This event will be run to Equestrian Sport New Zealand Rules for Eventing (Combined Training), Dressage and Jumping.

Western will be run pursuant to the NZWH Association rules.

Competition Rules
The Equestrian event will be run in accordance with Equestrian Sports NZ - Rules and Regulations

  • Combined Training will be run under ESNZ Eventing Rules.

  • Dressage: Horses can only be entered in two different levels.

  • Pre Caprilli: Horses can only be entered in one class.

  • Combined Training: Horses can only be entered in one Combined Training class

  • Show Horse: Horses/Riders can enter any classes pursuant to class restrictions.

  • Jumping: Horses can only be entered in two heights,  and the 6 Bar.

The organising committee reserves the right to change the program prior to the event.

Service/Agency Attire: This will be judged by a mystery judge over the two days

Competitors are strongly encouraged to enter into the spirit of the Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games by improvisation of their service/agency identity through their riding and horse’s attire.

Agency patches, uniforms and colour cordination greatly add to the spectacle and the uniqueness of this competition.

The “Smartest on Parade” event judge will be influenced by quality,    originality and the innovation of agency entrants in these events.
