Rules

Competition Grades
The competition will consist of the following Grades:

  • A Grade - High skill level competition player

  • B Grade - Good squash skills and confident in ability

  • C Grade - Reasonable understanding and skill level , play or played club or social squash events

  • D Grade - Never played before or limited squash experience.

Note: This grading system will differ slightly from systems used in Australia & NZ. Please consider the wording of the grade above prior to choosing which grade you should enter. The below explanation compares the above Grading to current NZ Squash Grading system:

  • A Grade - High skill level competition player (A and B graders)

  • B Grade - Good squash skills and confident in ability (C & D graders)

  • C Grade - Reasonable understanding and skill level , play or played club or social squash events (E graders)

  • D Grade - Never played before or limited squash experience. – Ungraded/New Players F

 

Competition Format
Squash will be run in a Round Robin format consisting of point a rally scoring, upto 15 points.

Matches will be the best of 5 sets.

Winners of pools will play off in semis / finals.Rules
Competion will be play in accordance with World Squash Federation, Squash Australia and Squash New Zealand Rules.
